ARGUS.net sweeps ahead with offer of three solutions in one

firefox (Los Angeles, CA April 29, 2011) SydneyPLUS/Questor, a leading independent Museum Collections Management software development company, is pleased to announce their involvement in this year’s AAM conference being held in Houston TX, May 22 – 26, 2011. After a year of intense development, and in close consultation with their client base, they will be demonstrating ARGUS.net, a unique browser based solution that offers a collections management, public portal website and mobile app builder for exhibits - all in one complete package.

Utilizing industry leading SydneyPLUS Information Manager technology, the new ARGUS.net is a complete museum management software suite designed to accommodate a diverse range of collections—including archaeology, ethnology, fine and folk art, history, natural science and slide collections. Uniquely and with seamless integration, the software suite offers three solutions in one:

Collections Management System with built-in re-configuration features - allow museum professionals to customize the ARGUS.net collection management system as needs change and new requirements appear.

Built-in portal “web site in a box” - lets users deliver information about the collection, as well as museum programs and activities over the web easily and efficiently.

Built-in App Builder - lets users quickly deploy exhibit applications for mobile devices such as the iPad and iPhone.

Some clients and prospects already had the opportunity to view the new ARGUS.net at the Museums and the Web conference in April earlier this year. The new capabilities that were added resonated with viewers and garnered great attention and excitement. “We expect much the same will happen at AAM,” says Candyce McDonald, Sales Representative at SydneyPLUS/Questor.

Conference attendees are invited to visit SydneyPLUS/Questor at booth #606. SydneyPLUS/Questor staff will be available throughout the conference to discuss and demonstrate their solution concepts, answer your questions and listen to your comments. Clients this year are also invited to attend the first annual SydneyPLUS/Questor User Group Meeting booked for May 24th at 5pm at the conference hotel.
